Kyphosis: One really should not have abnormal kyphosis at age 20 - if no spine abnormality is found then posture is the issue. Kyphosis does get worse with age - but not in everyone.

Yes: depending on the cause of kyphosis, if its very mild kyphosis and one is healthy, active, it should not progress much, however kyphosis in patients wheelchair bound unable to maintain normal posture does tend to worsen with time sometimes requiring surgical correction
