Negotiate: If you don't have insurance, have a friend, who does have commercial insurance, not straight Medicaid or Medicaid insurance, ask their insurance company, what they reimburse for a vaginal delivery and for a c/section. Then ask your doctor and your hospital, if they would accept that same reimbursement. You will also need to ask for the costs for anesthesia, the pediatrician...it's a nightmare.
