Ranitidine: Your symptoms don't appear to be due to GERD and thus you get no relief from ranitidine or other antigerd medications like nexium. Unless you have a new viral throat infection,your symptoms may be stress related or due to pharyngolaryngeal reflux, or ,postnasal drip. An otolaryngologist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you.
