I have had a cough for 3 weeks. most times it is dry but occasionaly i cough up flem. today i woke up extremely dizzy and have been dizzy since.

Likely unrelated: The cough and dizziness may be unrelated. There may also be a possibility that you have an underlying viral upper respiratory infection and are now developing post viral labyrinthitis - an inflammation of your balance channels inside your ear. Inner ear issue: Your coughing might have forced fluid into your inner ear. This can cause hearing changes and sometimes nausea. Possible remedies include nasal irrigation and medications like phenlyephrine which can dry/open the nasal tubes. Meclizine can help with the inner ear. If persistent, see and otolaryngologist.
