The difference between fibrous breast and swollen lymph nodes?

Dr. John Chiu answered

Big: Fibrous breast describes the consistency of the breast tissue which is made up mostly of fat. Swollen lymph nodes are lumpy and usually present at or close to an area where cancerous cell, inflammation or infection is present. The lumpy tissue in the breasts is unlikely to be from enlarged lymph nodes especially in the absence of nodes at the armpits or elsewhere.
