I had to go to the hospital to have a condom removed. there was blood on the condom but i was not currently bleeding. two days later i began spotting.

Since the condom: was removed before any serious problems (specifically, infection) developed, the blood and spotting aren't likely to indicate anything serious. If your period is late, I do recommend a pregnancy test. If you get pelvic pain, severe menstrual cramps, bleeding that's heavier than normal or recurring problems, you should see a doctor.
