CHF? Renal disesae?: If the affected person has congestive heart failure, his or her doctor may be recommending a low salt diet and these foods often are salty. Or if also kidney failure, avoding protein may be important. Discuss with the patient's doctor.

Fat content.: Patients with heart conditions need to limit their intake of saturated fats and trans fats. Really everybody does, but especially heart patients. Lean proteins are fine, but not things like whole eggs, red meats and butter.
