Hypodense liver spot caudate lobe on ct 9 mths after prev ct showed nothing in setting of carcinoid syndrome symptoms. could this be liver metastasis?

Yes I suspect mets: A new Hypodense lesion in liver in association with any intra-abdominal cancer arise the suspicion of Metastasis. This can be confirmed with a follow up Ct scan in 3 months. A biopsy of this lesion may also be a consideration. You should also see a medical oncologist for further pursuit of this abnormality as it may need treatment (?surgery to remove it if it is growing in size) in the near future
