Usually stop briefly: I usually stop these for the duration of oral therapy. The conditions that require oral therapy often mean the inhaled med is not able to get as deep into the lung where they usually go, and the oral route gets the med in the blood to the same site, through a different path. I resume inhalers after the asthma flareup has settled and the med is more likely to get where it needs to go.
