Adipex and celexa (citalopram): You should ask a pharmacist to be absolutely sure. That being said, according to the packaging insert for adipex (phentermine), there are many drugs listed that should not be taken with it, but Celexa (citalopram) (an ssri) is not listed as one of them. So it should be safe. But again, check with a pharmacist.

Drug interactions: There is potential for drug interactions. Per Drugs.Com Celexa may increase effects of phentermine, with SEs like "jitteriness, nervousness, anxiety, restlessness, & racing thoughts" as well as potential for serotonin syndrome.
