Fasciculation: muscle twitching can be a benign like in a benign fasciculation syndrome OR not like in a process affecting the muscle, motor nerve, plexus, root, or anterior horn. consult a neurologist for an EMG/nerve conduction study, MRI if the study is abnormal. In the interim consider OTC magnesium supplementation as it can help with benign fasciculations. cut back on caffeine, increase sleep and relaxation
