I'm taking ibuprofen and tylenol for excruciating tooth pain and it's not working. is there anything else i can take for the pain??

Well: First of all be cautious with the taking of ibuprofen or Tylenol. There are two good remedies. Use a tea bag. Wet and bite down on it placing it over the bad tooth or you can crush an aspirin and use a piece of damp gauze to pick up the crushed aspirin and place directly on the bad tooth and bite down on the gauze. Both work well but you ultimately need to find a dentist

Do not: Place aspirin in your mouth except to swallow it. Aspirin will severely burn your mouth. If ibuprofen does not give relief, you must see a dentist or the pain will soon become excruciating.
