Telogen effluvium.: With telogen effluvium, the spots you develop can be without hair for several months. When the hairs start to grow again, they will of course be very short, but they will regrow to normal length eventually. This growth can take many months however, so patience is needed. Hair grows very slowly, unfortunately.
