Can we use steam to open up our pores ? is there any side effects of it such as aggravating our pimples ?

Pores secrete oils: Black-/whiteheads show clogged pores; pimples are infected. Regular cleansing is needed, but if this is too rough/harsh, skin feels dried out and secretes even more skin oils. To prevent this, cleanse your skin twice daily, pat dry (don't rub) then use a "toner" to shrink up your pores. And then always use an oil-free moisturizer. Your skin doesn't feel dried out ; oil glands won't be over-worked.

OK: Steam has been used to cleanse the skin and "open" the pores going back to ancient times and the roman bath houses. It will not effect or cause acne.
