Menstrual reset.: Your pituitary gland that controls the menstrual cycle has to reset after having been pregnant for 9 weeks pumping out hormones. If a D & C was done after the miscarriage, the lining of the womb(endometrium) which sheds every month has also been removed and thus must all start over. If no period by 12 weeks post miscarriage, go see your GYN MD to find out why.
