Vomiting: Such prolonged vomiting is of concern and calls for evaluation by a physician. Associated retching and belching may be seen in acute gastritis. If you are loosing significant amounts of fluids and have been unable to take in good fluid intake, complications of dehydration and electrolyte imbalance could be present. Faster evaluation and treatment can be accomplished in the hospital emergency room.
