Many causes: There are many causes of cellulitis. The location and appearance would also help in narrowing the choices. Most cellulitis in people 60 and older is caused by poor blood flow, either poor blood supply or poor blood return to the heart. This type of cellulitis is most typically seen in the lower legs.
