Maybe venous stasis.: People often treated w recurrent "cellulitis" in ED, primary docs,urgent care, wound center, etc. when true diagnosis is venous stasis/venous insufficiency, not cellulitis or infection . Causes redness, edema, pain. Antibiotics not the answer. Ultrasound WITH REFLUX STUDIES & Vascular consult needed to assess. Commonly easy to treat with simple procedure in Dr Office, local anes, great result.
