Tearing/ irritation: Really corrosive chemical known to cause tearing and irritation. The eyes should be copiuosly irrigated and professional emergency treatment gotten.

Nasty stuff: This is a corrosive, organic chemical. It is markedly irritation so if you got it in your eye, you will blink out much of it and your tear flow would have been impressive. The eye should be flushed out with a serious amount of water and then get to the ophthalmologist as soon as you can -- but flush first.
