Occasionally i get knife like pain in stomach. it feels worse if i eat chocolate (something fatty) or drink alcohol. is this acid? inflammation?

GERD: Reflux of acid into the esophagus can be induced by alcohol, nicotine, chocolate, spicy or carbonated foods. If responsive to over the counter remedies your need for further evaluation may be abbreviated. As best possible try to avoid those foods. If persists pursue medical evaluation. Spitting up blood, any sign of anemia, or change in stools. Chest pain of any kind can signal heart disease.
