Skin reaction: This is likely a reaction to something that had direct contact with the area.It may have been something you got on your fingers whose thicker skin did not react, but by touching or scratching the area you transferred the agent that triggered the reaction.A gentile cleaning and 1-2X a day hydrocortizone cream may help it fade.
