Large Local Reaction: You probably are experiencing what is called a large local reaction to an insect sting. It can last for several days, especially if you did not remove the bee remnants and wash and ice the site. There is no reason why you can't play soccer. There are many ways to treat the sting. Traditional methods include Benadryl itch cream, steroid creams and calamine lotion. You can also use honey!
