Yes: You may resume your prescription medications after your augmentation. To be safe, ask your surgeon when s/he recommends resuming them. I generally don't stop such medications unless the anesthesiologist has an objection and they usually want you to continue your baseline medications. You're taking them for a reason!

Yes: Prior to surgery and immediately thereafter there may be some drug interactions and you should be aware that the use of narcotic analgesics or valium may cause a temporary sedative effect that may cause increased symptoms of adhd while the metabolism of these products may also cause increased blood levels of your vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine). Make your anesthesiologist aware as they may recommend stopping prior/after.

Check First.: This medication usually used for attention deficit disorder, may interact with medications used for postoperative pain control or muscle relaxation. Therefore, probably best to check with your prescribing physician about possible drug interactions before proceeding. Also, make sure that your anesthesiologists is aware of all medications you use. Best wishes.

Yes: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is used for treatment of adhd. Like many medications in this class, there is a concern about interactions with certain inhaled anesthetic agents. Discuss this with your surgeon - usually we stop this medication for a few days before surgery, and have you resume it post-op.
