This can be a very complex issue and one that you would want to go over in person with your medical provider. You need to know based on these and your family history if you are at risk of heart disease or stroke.

Needs detail info: General speaking, first step to improve your lipid profile is change your diet and increase your physical activities. You had better consult your doctor to find what components of lipid high. Because the treatment would be different, like pure LDL elevation or pure triglyceride elevation or both.
