Dental review: It is difficult to comment without examining. However this could be a submandibular lymph node, it could be a ganglionic cyst or it could be an abscess developing. It short you need a dental review to ensure this is nothing sinister.

Lump in jaw: It sounds like an abscess, but it could be a cyst or a tumor. Especially troubling is the numbness. To be sure you need a clinical examination and X-rays. Make an appointment to see a dentist ASAP.
