Get checked now: It sounds like you have an abscess. An abscess on the face & neck is more serious sometimes than an abscess elsewhere. Since you're in severe pain, go to an ER now and be evaluated. You don't want to get worse, I'm sure! So get seen right away. Do not drive if the pain is severe and you cannot pay enough attention to practice good defensive driving skills. Don't eat or drink till doc ok's.
