See nephrologist: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, an estimated glomerular filtration is a better indicator of kidney function. Unless you are a muscular man engaged in heavy physical activity, it would be prudent to see a nephrologist for evaluation and advice.
