Rare: Unless you actually saw the spider most of these lesions are actually due to MRSA infections and you should be seen and treated by a doctor. Spiders rarely bite humans and when they do the only ones in usa which are serious are the brown spider (loxsoceles reclusa) and the black widow.

Spider bite: Topical corticosteroids usually prescribed by a dermatologist are helpful for mild spider bites and help with itch , redness . However if there is a lot of pain or an ulcer/open sore one should seek immediate medical attention.
