Not birth control: If you have chlamydia and trichomonas long enough, you can be at risk for pelvic inflammatory disease (pid), which is very painful, and can cause scarring and impact fertility (permanently). You need treated for your stds and to use a proper form of birth control (condoms, spermicide, etc.).
