Need contraception: Taking Plan B or Postinor 2 can alter the timing of the current menstrual cycle and the upcoming cycle. Bleeding or spotting should be back to usual, after 3-6 weeks or so. One should check a urine pregnancy 3 weeks after taking or Postinor 2, to make sure there is no pregnancy. Primary contraception should always be used (if not wanting a baby), so that emergency contraception is not needed.
