Yes: if are having blood through rectum or vomiting blood you should definitely go to the ER. if it is only minimal amount in the toilet paper, you can probably wait and be seen at the latest early next week. avoid NSAIDs (advil, aleve, etc), and take a PPI daily (such as omeprazole, nexium, etc)
