Likely benign: need more info but very unlikely that these are old strokes, especially if you don't have stroke risk factors. consider neurologist eval for MS if you do not have migraines as these lesions are quite common in migraine patients,and are not at all associated with shorter life span. talk to a neurologist who will put your mind at ease.
