Food poisoning: This is quite a common occurrence - and most cases resolve on their own. The time to see a doctor (ER visit or call to the Primary doc) is when you have FEVER, dizziness or lightheadedness, or the nausea/vomiting/diarrhea go 'on and on'. Also if the urine becomes very dark... A CULTURE would be the only way to prove Campylobacter infection -but you're right it's highly associated with chicken/eggs
