Not pregnant: A woman is not pregnant if she gets her normal regular menstrual period. If she starts her normal regular period AFTER having sex, then she is not able to become pregnant until she gets a new deposit of semen (sperm) from more sex. If not wanting to get pregnant, an effective primary form of birth control must be used all the time (to avoid the need for EC).
