Bad: Unfortunately stage IV gall bladder has very poor prognosis.

Not very good: In stage iv, gallbladder cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes and/or to organs far away from the gallbladder. Since chemotherapy is not very effective and surgery is not an option, the overall median survival after diagnosis of stage IV cancer is approximately 4-6 months.

Unfortunately bad: Gallbladder cancer is one of the most difficult cancers to treat when found early. Stage 4 is quite late.
