That's not late: There is no need to do a pregnancy test until 1 week after missing one's period. If menstrual cycles are 28 days, that means doing a pregnancy test when one arrives at day 35 (28+7=35) and there is still no period. There is no rush, because a period can be late and then start a few days later than expected. As long one's period arrives and looks normal, she is presumed not pregnant.
