Possible relapse: If you haven't been keeping up with your retainers, a relapse of tooth position may explain your problem. See your Orthodontist for advice on how to proceed.

Not likely: At 14 when your braces were removed jaws & teeth were balanced but there was considerably more jaw growth to undergo. If your upper/lower jaw growth was asymmetric, jaw relationships could have become uneven. If retainers not worn as directed, teeth could have shifted. Return to Orthodontist or Dentist who treated you, or see a different Orthodontic specialist, for evaluation and advice.
