May need doctor: If these symptoms are of short duration you can try an H2 blocker like omeprazole (pepcid) or ranitidine (Zantac), or a Proton Pump inhibitor like omeprazole (Prilosec) but if symptoms persist, especially if you have weight changes or dark or bloody stools, you need to be seen.
