Should have f/u: A gnawing discomfort in the stomach can sometimes mean that you have inflamation in the esophagus, stomach or small bowel. When you eat it makes the discomfort worse. Sometimes a hiatal hernia can cause reflux which can lead to those symptoms too. A visit to your FP or gastroenterologist can give you more answers
