A member asked:

I'm having issues with irregular/now no periods for over 5yr. my blood tests came back fine but i have all signs of pcos, should i push this w/ my dr?

Seek treatment: You should certainly push this with your doctor. There are many effective therapies to help women with PCOS symptoms. Irregular periods can increase your risk for other health related issues. Also, since you are young, controlling PCOS will help when you decide to start your family. Blood tests, although helpful, are not required to make the diagnosis of PCOS.
