Is it safe to use anbesol (or any numbing drug) on hymen before breaking it?

Numbing the vagina: Anbesol is not indicated for use in vaginal area. If you want to use numbing medicine you need to see a doctor to get a prescription for a specially formulated vaginal numbing medications. You could use numbing medicine but you also have to be aware they may decrease the pain but will cause other potentially unpleasant sensations. Numbing is not same as anesthesizing.

Yes safe: Just not sure how effective it would be. Usually the pain is not longlasting anyway. The active ingredient is Benzocaine and it is safe in the vagina but it would numb the entire area which would probably feel really wierd . You need to weigh the short term pain versus the whole area numbness for the entire pleasurable experience which you would not have with numbing.
