No: HPV is a family of dozens of viral strains, some of which can be passed during skin to skin contact during sex. They remain localized to genital tissue & do not enter the blood. The primary infection can eventually self heal over months, but the virus can remain in the tissue indefinately and recur. There are no antibiotics to cure it.Only the wart strains show obvious symptoms.
