A member asked:

Spotting, light pink cm, feeling quite nausea, 3 days after unprotected sex, also 3 days after ovulation, could i be pregnant?

Hard to guess: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed.

Not from last sex: Your symptoms (spotting, nausea...) may be due to a pre-existing early pregnancy or perhaps to another cause which would need to be investigated; they are not due to the fact that you had unprotected intercourse 3 days ago. A blood betaHCG pregnancy test should answer your question quite promptly. Be safe; check it as soon as possible.
