Watch output: As long as a kid is making pee at least every 6 hours the are generally stable enough to monitor at home. Eating small amounts of apple sauce or popsicle pieces may calm the stomach.Think small amounts continuously rather than big amounts at one time.Good luck.

See a doctor now: If he is vomiting and can't keep down fluids, see your doctor now. Young children can get dehydrated more rapidly. Signs of dehydration would be decreased urine, lethargy (not responding as usual), pallor, dry mouth, and a sunken look to the eyes. Don't wait for those symptoms. If he has vomited more than a few times and can't tolerate fluids, go to the doctor now.
