Neuritis: compression or inflammation of a nerve, either from your cervical spine ( radiculopathy ) or compression if a nerve in your arm. You will need an examination, imaging, probable nerve conduction studies and anti inflammatory medicine .I suggest seeing your PCP. You can try using Aleve ( 1 tablet every 8 hrs ) or Advil ( 1-2 tab every 6hrs. ) if not allergic to NSAIDS.

From the neck?: This sounds like one of three things: nerve compression in the neck (cervical radiculopathy), shoulder (brachial plexopathy) or wrist (carpal tunnel syndrome). A nerve conduction test, performed by Neurologist, would be your most direct diagnostic step.
