You have options: If you are a healthy woman and your Gyn exams are normal, you may try some NSAIDs (NonSteroidal-AntiInflammatory Drugs) like ibuprofen , anaprox, naproxen, mefenamic acid etc...for 2 to 3 cycles without or with combined continuous oral contraceptive pills. Exercises and heating pads may also help. If pain persists, discuss the pros and cons of a diagnostic laparoscopy with your gynecologist.

See a GYN MD: You need to see a GYN MD and find out why there is severe cramping and pain. At that point, a Rx can be offered whether that is medication or surgery.
