Lactic acid creams: Keratosis pilaris bumps don't like to completely go away, but Amlactin (or other creams containing lactic acid) can help. If the bumps are on both sides of the body, one can try Amlactin on one side (and use the other side for comparison). After 1 month, if the Amlactin side is a lot smoother than the other side, then that is a good sign that the lactic acid cream has helped.
