Not urgent...: Yes, it is accurate if the specimen is collected correctly & processed freshly, like using the first part of urine preferably that in the morning or at least 4 hrs after no voiding. Yet, in life reality, waiting for 7-10 days would not affect the outcome of care, follow-up as long as professional due diligence and vigilance are simultaneously executed for all involved parties.

Possible: Rapid testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea is available. There is no test in medicine that would not have at least a tiny error margin. To err on the positive side would mean getting treated, when it's not necessary; to err on the negative side would mean not getting treated while treatment is necessary. With sexually transmitted diseases both partners should be tested.
