I'm so confident: There are few things I'd be so certain about. It could take a few interviews, but I'm sure you can find an experienced supportive psychotherapist to work w/ on these. I urge you not to go the Rx route before this even if it is later thought to be useful. 1st, form a relationship w/ such a therapist - probably a woman, but not necessarily. You are not alone in this issue!

Different Approaches: Sorry you're struggling, but cheers to you for asking for support. Before finding the solution, we'd need to consider some other questions- for example, are you feeling anxious because you legitimately need to improve your ability to eat graciously in front of others; or might this be a form of social anxiety where you're being self-critical? These answers would shape the best approach to use.
