Tea and antidep: 25 F asks is it Ok to drink green tea while on mirtazapine? Then states she has heard it is has interactions with some anti dep. ANS: I would ask the person who told you this to give you the references to back up the statement. The only way to tell I you is to try it with your Drs OK WITH that approach.

Hedge: While I wouldn't say "green light" on drinking, the largest interaction would be the combined sedative effects of alcohol and Remeron. Ultimately, I'd agree with "ask your doctor." Lastly, keep in mind alcohol is horrible for sleep quality, esp. if you have pre-existing sleep problems.
